"The photographer takes us to seven different countries, through thirty-five black and white gelatin silver prints.

"D-Day Remembered"
Eisenhower Museum, Abilene (Kansas), from June 1 to November 11, 2024
"40 black and white photos of the Normandy Landing commemorations taken between the 50th anniversary of D-Day in 1994 and the 75th in 2019.
Not being a journalist but a local Norman amateur photographer, therefore without the accreditation to be at the official ceremonies, Fabrice Bourge documented another side of these events. Influenced by the French photo-journalist Henri Cartier-Bresson (co-founder of the Magnum photo agency), he turned to looking at the crowd and the individuals who came and participated. This reveals perhaps what the official photographs do not, a more intimate side with each image having a backstory."
